Argaty Red Kites
TheTamshee: spent some time "trying" to hone my photoraphy skills at Lerrocks farm. The Red Kites have had a tough time over the prolonged winter; with a few casualities along the way.

Philiphaugh Waterwheel
TheTamshee: says; the water turns the Philiphaugh Waterwheel; which generates the power supply for the sawmill and then we leave the lights on to waste this valuable energy; that's life.

Tawny In Flight
TheTamshee: only managed a snap shot as the resident Tawny Owl flew the roost. Canon F5.0 1/800 AWB with ISO100
Tamshee's Owl Roost
TheTamshee: has spent some considerable time strolling the woods in search of Owl Scat or whitewash at the base of favourable roosting trees; but perseverance's pays off. I've finally found my very own resident Tawny Owl. As I checked out this lower entrance the roosting raptor exited at the higher opening.

Tamlin "O" Carterhaugh
TheTamshee says: Galyn; I've hiked the yarrow valley on numerous ocassions, but seldom have i come across standing stones, other than the cairns at the Three Brethern. The myth "O" the Tamlin is legend but the secret lies with the fairy queen I fear. Your quest will take a lifetime!Click Here for some info relating to the Yarrow Stone, only a few miles from Selkirk heading along the A708. Other Standing Stones
