Duart Castle, Isle Of Mull

TheTamshee: spent some time circum-navigating Duart Castle or ( Caisteal Dhubhairt ) on the majestic Isle Of Mull. The castle dates back to the 13th century and was the seat of Clan MacLean This oddly shaped fortress was used as a location in the 1999 film Entrapment, starring Sean Connery  who has MacLean ancestry on his mother's side.

Duart Castle & Lismore Lighthouse

TheTamshee: clan visited Duart Castle, stronghold to clan Maclean. Standing proudly on a clifftop guarding the sound of mull. Across the sound to the east, Lismore lighthouse guides the shipping safely through the channel to the western isles.
