Having travelled the route many times, it is a delight to ride-with a great mix of tight and sweeping bends. the road surface is well tarred-offering excellent grip in the warmer months. If your desire is to travel in all weathers-then proceed with caution, there is a lot of farm machinary depositing all sorts of crud on the perfect line. The onward journey from Moffat is also a delight-take the high road over the "Devils Beef Tub" and you are in biker's heaven-with awesome views of the hills beyond, enjoy
