Star Wars "Retold" Darkside

Plot: The story of The Empire Strikes Back is retold. Darth Vader (Stewie) is hunting the young Rebel Luke Skywalker (Chris) and his troops relentlessly across the galaxy. On the ice planet Hoth, Luke has a vision of his late mentor Obi-Wan Kenobi (Herbert), telling him to go to the planet Dagobah to learn the ways of the Force under Jedi Master Yoda (Carl). Meanwhile, Princess Leia (Lois) finds herself taking a shine to the scruffy pilot Han Solo (Peter) and, against all odds, the two soon fall in love. But an encounter with Han's old friend Lando Calrissian (Mort) lands them in the clutches of the Empire. Envisioning this, Luke chooses to forgo his Jedi training to save his friends. It all comes to a head in a climactic confrontation with Darth Vader himself...

Gore Vidal "Mother Tucker"

American novelist, playwright and essayist Gore Vidal (born October 3, 1925, in West Point, New York) appeared as himself in the "Mother Tucker" episode of "Family Guy" as a guest on Brian's radio show on 97.1 FM, who is quite shocked to see that Brian's literate call-in show has become the outrageously lewd Dingo & The Baby show.

Blue Harvest

Peter re-tells Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope to his family during a blackout

Plot: The Griffins are watching a golf tournament on TV, in which the announcers speculate on the possibilities of a sexual encounter with Phil Mickelson's wife, when the power goes out. The family is left to wonder what to do for entertainment now that they are without television. After Brian's suggestion that they turn to reading is met with laughter from the rest of the family, Meg suggests they should tell stories. She asks Peter to tell the story of her birth, but Peter rushes through the demeaning story.
Peter then decides to tell the story of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. The film's opening crawl gives spoilers on the relationship between Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader and Princess Leia, then goes off on a tangent about Angelina Jolie and her relationship with her brother before showing the Tantive IV being chased by the Star Destroyer over Tatooine.
