TheTamshee says: we have the Esvagt Charlie on location at Valdemar, taking care of standby duties. The crews on these rescue vessels required extensive training to fulfill this vital role. In years gone by there services were required in the rescue of the crews on board the stricken Jack-Up drilling rig West Gamma which capsized in the North Sea during a hurricane in 1990 the weather made rescue from helicopter impossible.
