Sure we have created a new industry to keep thousands of people in employment but even if we utilized every square meter of moorland, it would still not be enough. The boffins out there need to get their engineering heads on. The answer is, Yes; Nuclear Power Stations but not constructed on land. We convert the aging and soon to be redundant production platforms into mini power stations. The seabed production pipelines can be used as conduits for the electrical cables. Sounds crazy but all things are possible!! Get to work lads, Problem solved.
